Overview
The Do Dham yatra brings together two of Uttarakhand’s most sacred shrines. After Devprayag Sangam and Maa Dhari Devi Temple, you spend a night in the Guptkashi/Sonprayag area before the trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath — an estimated 9–10 hours — for the evening aarti and a night near the temple.
After morning darshan, Bhairav Baba Temple, Bhim Shila and the Adi Shankaracharya memorial, you trek back down. The next day’s drive follows the Alaknanda past Karnaprayag, Nandprayag and Vishnuprayag, with a stop at Narsingh Mandir in Joshimath, to Badrinath Dham for darshan. On the final morning you visit Mana Village and the Saraswati River before beginning the journey home.
